CORE (“we”, “us”) is a team of people in the 2027 Law Society of Ontario bencher election. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
When you sign up for updates: your first and last name, email address and postal code.
When you contribute: your name, email address, phone number, mailing address and contribution amount. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card or bank details go directly to Stripe and are never received or stored by CORE.
When you complete our survey: your answers and any contact details you choose to provide. The survey is hosted by SurveyMonkey.
When you visit the site: basic, non-identifying usage information such as pages visited, referring website, device type and approximate location, collected through our website analytics.

We share information only with the service providers that help us run the campaign, and only as needed for them to provide their service:

Stripe uses essential cookies on the contribution page to process payments securely and prevent fraud. Where our website analytics use cookies, we will ask for your consent where required. You can also control cookies through your browser settings.
We keep contribution records for as long as needed to meet our financial record-keeping obligations.
We use reputable service providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No website or online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
